In Memoriam, Gregory M. van Kipnis

It’s with nice unhappiness that we mark the latest passing of former AIER Chairman of the Board of Trustees and longstanding Voting Member, Gregory (Gregg) M. van Kipnis on the night of Saturday, November 8, 2025, in New York.

A scholar of the Austrian economist Ludwig von Mises at New York College the place he obtained his MBA in economics and finance, Gregg had a protracted and distinguished profession in finance, enterprise, and banking. Amongst many different positions, he served as President and CEO of Invictus Companions; Government Vice President at Jefferies & Co.; Managing Director of NatWest Monetary Merchandise in London; and a Principal at Morgan Stanley.
