AG slams gov’t for seeking to be above the law

Israel’s cupboard has unanimously handed a vote of no confidence in Lawyer Common Gali Baharav-Miara, who didn’t attend the assembly and mentioned that the federal government is searching for to be above the legislation. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was additionally absent and the cupboard assembly was led by Minister of Justice Yariv Levin.

Levin opened the assembly by saying, “I look on the absence of the Lawyer Common from the assembly as a really critical matter. That is additional proof of the depth of the contempt she harbors for the cupboard and its members, and that she has no responses to the allegations made towards her.”

Chief of the opposition MK Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid) mentioned that Netanyahu needs to fireside his prosecutor.
